The PTO is currently looking for a treasurer for the 2018-19 school year  

You do not need to be an accountant for this role. The PTO has an easy-to-use budget tracking system in place that does all the heavy lifting!

  • In this position, you will be responsible for all fiscal reporting required for the Eagle Crest PTO, a 501c3/non-profit.  You will attend monthly board meetings where you provide monthly reports on the board's financial standing (funds raised, initiatives funded, progress to budget).  You are also responsible for balancing the checkbook, filing federal and state taxes, paying for initiatives, making bank deposits, and supporting the collection of money at fundraisers and events.  As a voting member of the board, you support decision making for how funds raised will benefit the students, faculty and staff, and help to communicate the PTO's mission to the school community.

When there is a need for volunteers at a school event, the PTO volunteer coordinator will send an email out to the list of folks in our school community who have opted in to volunteer.  You can sign up according to your availability and interests via an online tool called Sign Up Genius. Easy Peasy!
