We run for Eagle Crest to build unity throughout our school. Your contribution helps pay for our field trip transportation costs, classroom support from paraprofessionals and special programs for our class, grade, and school. This is our school community's biggest annual event and one our kids take pride in. When we hit our Goal of $23,500 this year, our entire school will have a tie-dye party to color our school t-shirts! We appreciate your support in any amount to help us reach our goal!

Didn’t we just do this last Spring?
One of the many exciting changes this year is the return of our annual fundraiser, Laps 4 Leadership, to October! Traditionally hosted in the fall, it was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic. We relied on reserve funds to get us through and in the spring of 2021, we hosted a limited event with a socially-distanced run. There it stayed as we rode out the many transitions the past few years have brought us. It is time however to move this event back to its proper timeline in the fall!
What does this mean for us as a school?
Better weather, a less crowded end-of-year calendar, and time to budget thoughtfully with a solid financial outlook for the coming year. As you may be aware, the funds raised from this event comprise 80% of our budget for the following year. The funds we raised in April last school year informed our 23-24 budget, and the funds we raise this October will inform the 24-25 budget.

Secondly we are looking for volunteers that can serve on October 26th:
Help organize grade levels at the warm-up station
Pass out water during the run
Help track laps for kids running
Help pass out apples after the race
Time Commitment: 30min-4hrs

Laps 4 Leadership Sponsorships
Our annual Laps for Leadership Fun Run raises 80% of ECES PTO’s s annual income which pays for field trips & bus transportation, two paraprofessionals, in-school enrichment programs, community-building events and school improvement projects! Help us reach our goal to raise $23,500 in 2023! Our families raise money leading up to our Fun Run on October 26th, 2023.
